Day 12 – March 12th 2013
We’re no different to anyone else – we’re a small company and people are often surprised by the fact that we are there, on the end of the phone or an email. One of favourite moments was the person who called us one day and I happened to answer the phone. At some point during the conversation he asked for my name and I told him, and he recognised it from the emails. However, I think he had assumed that it was simply a marketing ploy, and that there wasn’t actually a ‘Dominic’ at Bureau. In fact, what he actually said was that he had assumed it was a made up name like Colonel Saunders. It amused me, to be thought of as like that. Anyway, like anyone we are not averse to a bit of flattery, and when we were asked to be judges at the ‘stationery awards’ at last year’s Stationery Show it was probably as close as we will get to being at the Oscars. So, today’s question is…
Q: What was the first ‘R’ rated film to win all 5 of the major Oscars
A: One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest – see more here
